Vision Statement

We exist for the lost (the "1") and are here to become the church body for the "1" in order that the last shall truly be first.

Mission Statement

We will do this by creating a church body that looks to know one another and to be known by one another, in order to be renewed by the saving power of Jesus Christ.

Tenets

We are a Church of Christ. We adhere to the tenets of the historical first century church. Faith in Jesus with baptism and repentance leads to salvation and the gift of the Holy Spirit.

We align with, as is most possible, the first century church's example in both faith and action. 

​

We will not be perfect at this, but we will do it with adherences to love, grace, and hope, while avoiding being a resounding gong or clanging symbol.

We will hold each other accountable with the same love, grace, and hope. We affirm no sin, including our own.

​​

We seek to bring hope, peace, and rejuvenation to the individuals that make up this Church of Christ.

Becoming a member of Compass Church of Christ is to abide in this vision, mission, and these tenets, but, most importantly, in the very word of God!
